Pirates taking over
Grandma went to L.A. and all we got were these amazing costumes for Halloween! The kids really got into the parts sword fighting for most of the afternoon.

Play dates and first days of kindergarten
Bodhi having his first own play date and feeling very happy about it. Porter crashed out after K, and playing knights and princesses at a friends house. They have a good life!
Taking a breather
After the rush of the morning, breakfast, pack lunches, rain gear and buses, I drop B off at Preschool then I take a walk with the dog and relish the sound of rushing water. The sun illuminated the cliff the other morning and made the colors come alive. I took a deep breath, grateful for this time alone to recharge.

Money, Money, Money
Porter was very curious about money this morning so I grabbed our bucket of change which is about 5 years worth of leftover pocket change from the laundry. We sorted it out according to coin so they learned all the coins. We found about $200 which was nice and will be put towards our vacation to Orlando! Here is a little clip of us sorting money to Liza Minelli in Cabaret.
